Where's my baby

I did to put Daniel in jeans because I was afraid he would look like a little boy and not my baby. And I was right. But then...

my baby showed up again.

Oh to sleep

Oh to understand

I pride myself in understanding most 2 year olds. I speak pretty fluent toddler. But understanding a 4 month old is a whole new thing. Daniel used to only be vocal when he was hungry, but now he is very vocal. It is so much fun talking with him however most of the time I am not sure what he is talking about, which can lead to a little frustration on his part. But that is not too long lived once I figure it all out. OOh got to go he calling, or just talking to his bears I am not sure which.

Some people

Now I understand that I have thought it, but I have never asked the question...

Daniel was looking extra cute,

and the Padres had just won, and Daddy and Daniel were standing and cheering and this woman, a total and complete stranger, came up admiring Daniel, touching his little legs, then she looks at us with arms extended and asks "Can I hold him?"

Oh, those words

I know that I'm an older mom, I have nieces and nephews in High School, and there are certain words I have long feared hearing...
She was 8 years, the place San Diego Christian College Soccer field. She was telling me all about her family. She is an aunt, she has 2 nephews and a niece. She told me of her 3 or 4 sisters and oh so much more. Then she spoke those words..."Are you his grandmother?"
